For the first-ever Maker’s Mark Artist Series, we partnered with artist Alexandra Pacula to create limited-edition bottles inspired by eleven iconic cities and two unmistakable brand truths: make it by hand and take your time.
Our approach shows the unreasonable lengths Maker’s Mark will go to protect quality and the things worth slowing down for. Proving that just like the whisky, nothing worth doing well ever happens in a hurry.
Pacula travelled to each city to capture the atmosphere and spirit of place before painting each artwork by hand. Her unhurried brushstrokes and long exposure-style slow down each city, while their vertical trails echo the running drips of Maker’s Mark’s famous red wax.
From New York to Seoul, London to Sydney, the collection was designed to turn duty-free into something more emotional, collectible and unforgettable.
