To the British, tea is a magical drink. And Yorkshire Tea has more of this magic than most. A magic which has taken it beyond the borders of Yorkshire, to become the No.1 tea in the UK. It is famous for the green and pleasant land of its packaging, and for its advertising with its much-loved stories of properness. But beyond this it lacked a visual identity. Our challenge was to create a “world” for Yorkshire Tea, without breaking the spell.
The solution was to bring the image and spirit of the brand together, in one world. We re-crafted the brand's lettering, to bring properness, and permanence. Working with artist Andrew Davidson, whose imagination created the Yorkshire Tea landscape, we brought new life to the stone walled fields; with seasonal wildflowers, animals, walkers, and more. The two things, lettering and landscape, come together in a brand world that is unmistakably Yorkshire Tea. Opening doors to its green, pleasant and proper land.
