LeSHOP, the Publicis Groupe shopper marketing agency, was created to prove that commercial excellence can – indeed, should – be creative. From the bottom of the funnel, upward. And while LeSHOP’s 80-strong team of experts brought decades of experience, the agency itself was starting fresh and needed a brand as creatively ambitious as the work it set out to do.
We built LeSHOP’s identity around a format that every shopper knows, but most would overlook – the till receipt. And specifically, its characterfully low-res, dot-matrix aesthetic.
We created a system of AI-generated pixelated icons, so the brand could create an infinite number of icons in real time to respond to clients, categories and culture.
The unmistakable monochrome dot-matrix aesthetic is paired with vibrant colour, bold typography and a witty, non-transactional tone of voice.
