Since 1953, Star Hill Farm’s natural water source and nutrient rich soils have supplied the famous Maker’s Mark distillery. Now the world’s largest B Corp, and the first with Regenified certification, the farm stands for something more: a progressive entity pioneering the future of sustainable whisky. The challenge was to capture this spirit, which is so critical to raising awareness and encouraging experimentation across the entire industry.
The brand world captures a distinct sense of place, celebrating the visual contrast between the organic textures of nature and the technical precision of human engineering. Wheat is elevated from ingredient to icon – captured in natural form through editorial imagery and used as raw material for recycled packaging and art installations.
Each unique annual release becomes a direct expression of nature’s inputs, exploring the seasonal effects of soil, weather, and grain.
“This is our opportunity to do something very, very different””
The identity supports the creation of the global Estate Whisky Alliance Member program, marking a timely shift toward a future focused on regenerative practice.
